Hearts are broken!!! Our beloved King Bhumibol has passed away.
I have always been thankful for our King and Queen. Because of God’s grace and sovereignty, Thailand had a great king and queen who loved and worked so hard for the Thai people. I am so proud to be Thai! Our King is a great picture of God’s love and has allowed us to understand more the picture of God coming down to love the people of the world. The Thai king who is of highest position in Thailand time and time again came down to the common people everywhere and allowed them to touch him, talk with him and come close to him. I am so sad and have cried many days! Yet in all of this, I am reminded my greatest King who loved me and gave His life for me. He is the living King, my Jesus! And I think I can share the gospel through this. Please pray for all Thai people and our situation.
Roman 2:7,10 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile
These verses make me think about the King Bhumibol. Our God is just. I hope he will be in God’s hands.
Single Women bible study
We just started a single women’s community. We have 2 groups and I have an opportunity to lead and think for one of the groups. There are 10 women in this group.
Our Vision is that we would love to be a single women group who desire to know God with all our heart and to reflect that love to each other even though we have different careers. And that we would love to be witnesses to non-believers. Our goals are: 1. Each of us will have individual time with God.
2. To learn and motivate each other to walk with God in the midst of our work environment. 3. Each of us will have our own ministry and to trust God to have 1-2 persons with whom we can share the gospel. (through the FISH process.)
We are now studying Biblical womanhood. This BS is encouraging us about how God created woman, valuable, the role of women role etc.
Pray for our single women in the church that we will always remember the privilege of being who we are and we can serve the Lord as single women and give Him glory.
Thank God for the opportunity to join english class with campus staff team. There are english classes for the students who are interested in practicing conversation. I was invited to teach them how to bake before the class began. It was fun! They never baked before but enjoyed practicing how to bake from the english recipe :) I also had a great time helping them to practice english in a small group. Please pray this english class is going to move forward the relationship with students and will be opportunities for sharing Christ.
Visit Chiang Mai staff
In the beginning of the month I had an opportunity to visit Chiangmai staff team for 4 days. My goal was to encourage the single staff women there and to meet the Christian girls. I always heard about them but never met them in person! So I got to spend time with them and enjoyed so much getting to know their lives:)
I visited Grace Church there and got to spend time with some families. Thank God for his plans and preparation for me. There were much more than I thought.
Please pray for all staff there will have wisdom and strength in doing ministry.
We just had our 5th church retreat at Inter Resort in Udorn. Our theme this year is “Arise and Make a difference” from Joshua 1:1-9 and 1 Corinthians 9:22 These verses encouraged us about our christian life. God called Joshua to arise and lead Israel to cross the Jordan river. God did not promise it would be easy but they he had to arise and go. God has called us and we already have eternal life but we have a life to live in Him. We will face battles and obstacles but God who is with us will bring the victory! We fight those with the secret power weapon, the truth of God and walk by faith that He already gave to us! And so by faith we can make a difference in the world to let the people come to know Christ!
Please pray for our church members that we will hold on to His promises tight and would like God to use their lives for His good works.
Prayer request :
For our Christian guy and girl students to love the words of God and to grow up in their faith. Pray for campus staff who think for and disciple them.
The I AM Club activity is coming this weekend. We are going to do community service at the school in Nong Pai district.
Ask God to send more Thai guys and women to be laborers for sharing the gospel.
Now I am taking 3 pills per day for Lupus. Pray for that this help relieve the pain in my wrist and finger joints due to inflammation. It has been hard to work.
Also, I am looking to raise one-time support to help cover some of the medical treatment expenses. My insurance could not cover all of the cost. If God is leading you for this special giving, please let me know.
We just started a new Club called “I Am” (I: Who you are, AM: Arise and Make a difference). We would like to encourage students to see that they can be who they are and can be the ones who can do something to make difference without following this world! This club is under Campus Outreach but in the future we would like the club to be a part of KKU system.
Our purpose for the club is to continue our momentum on campus and to reach more students. The exciting and encouraging thing is that the Christian students are leading the club. The students are great at impacting lives of other students!!! Please pray that God will use the club to lead more students to join our activities and open more opportunities to share the gospel. And pray for the Christian students and staff; as they are present the club in different faculties during this time.
New thing for me : "Sunday School class"
I have an opportunity to teach at our Sunday school class for children between between the age of 7-12. Some of them are believers and some are not. At first the reason that I agreed to be a teacher for the children at church was because of the need for more people to teach. I would like to serve and I believe that I can do it and I would like to know what do they do or study each Sunday.
Last month I had an opportunity to attend training for Sunday school with CEF (Thailand Child Evangelism Fellowship) for 2 days. It was great and so was encouraging to me. God showed me in my heart how important it is to share the gospel and sow the truth with the children since they are young. I now enjoy preparing and teaching them. It is fun to see how they get excited about the story from the Bible and like to compete to answer the question and get some prizes. In addition, the stories from the Bible lifts up my soul too.
High light : "Visiting hometown"
I went to visit my grandma in udon for the Mother's day. Penny went with me. It was really great to have the body of Christ go together. We had a great time with her. We had lunch and took her shopping. I had opportunity to pray for her after I gave her a traditional flower for respect that Thais give their mom’s on Mother’s day. It was not often that I have opportunities to pray right in front of her like this. Please pray for her to see God’s love clearly and want to know Him.
High light: "The last 2016 COSC"
This was our third year for the “CO Summer Camp” God always does great things!!! God blessed us so much. After the lack of student interest in our initial recruiting efforts, God blessed us with 60 students who attended the camp. Praise the Lord for 5 new believers!!! They are Sank, Fam,Praw, Ploy & Saibaan. I really thank God for their salvation and His grace & love pour on their lives. Please continue to pray for their faith and their walk with God.
I would like to see God’s will open the rest of the hearts of the students who have already heard the gospel at the camp and were called to know Him. My heart was so broken when I shared with them but they didn't hear what we shared. And they didn’t realize how awful their sin is and how much they needed Jesus to be their savior. Please pray for that they will understand God's grace & love and would want to receive the Lord as we have.
Please pray for:
Relationship with the Lord. I am focusing on God is our source right now.
Wisdom and strength to do my role. I am closing the accounts and doing the reports for Thai staff that will help them to understand their financial support status.
My health; my hand and finger joints have been inflamed and have been hurting for a month now. The medicines are not helping much. The result of Lupus blood & urine test was good last month when I met the doctor. I really don’t know why, maybe I’m allergic to some foods. Please pray that God will heal me and show us what is the cause for this pain.
My raising support maintenance.
“Thank you so much for your faithfulness of being a part of reaching the lost together by your prayers and support.”

Life's a Journey! Since the beginning of the year, Life has been a journey! We have had many retreats and traveled a lot.
Women's retreat in BKK for staff women and wives. January 28-30.
It was arefreshing and encouraging time.We did activities to help us focus on the Lord and what He has done in our lives. Thank God for all who hosted and helped. They were such a blessing.
Resource team retreat. February 11-13.
I am excited every year when we have our RT retreat! I am excited about what we focused on and learnt together. Our Theme this year was “Effectiveness”. The passage we used is from Ephesians 5:15-17. As a team, we would like to develop in effectiveness in our lives and our work.
CT women’s retreat. February 21-21.
God’s love compels us! This was our theme for CT women's retreat. It was our first time to have a retreat to encourage our postgraduate women who are serving and laboring in love at the church. It was encouraging that God reminded us to give our lives to Christ and then give our lives to others. The love of Christ in us will compel us to do these things by reflecting the glory of God. 2 Cor 5:14-15
KKU Evangelistic Retreat. February 26-28.
There was an evangelistic retreat in Ubonrat Dam. There were about 40 people including 20 non-believers, which was more than last year! We went to volunteer at the Disabled Center. We painted a mural on a wall, cleaned, planted trees, played games and did a craft with them. There was also a speaker who came and talked about how we rely social media and put our identity into that instead of God. Please pray for their salvation.
Please pray for Gibgob. She is a second year German major. She attend the COSC last year and knows a lot about God. She went to the Evangelistic retreat and heard the gospel again. After the retreat, she initiated hanging out and told us that she wants to know even more about God and how he can help her with her current problems! Praise the Lord! One barrier to her is believing only Jesus died to save everyone. She wonders how only one person can manage that while playing a part everyone’s life! Please pray that God will open her heart to understand and receive Jesus as her savior. Pray for Earn, who is going to meet and help her to learn more about God in the Knowing God book.
God Gives Great Opportunities!
I’ve seen God use me to meet people and share the gospel at the walking track around the lake. God can use us through our normal activities that we do! There are opportunities!
Mindmintis a Statistic freshmen girl. She likes to exercise by walking with me in the mornings and this has become a regular thing. This is a great opportunity to be her friend and share the gospel with her. Kung is an old friend I met, at the lake. She just moved to work in KK. I think this is also a great opportunity to share the love of Christ with her!
"Thank you so much for your love, prayers and support"
Sharing the true meaning of Christmas and giving gifts.
"Church Christmas Service"
"Give Jesus story books for students from Nonmaung school"
"Caroling at the village near our church"
"Showing love by prayers"
I was encouraged by PenNy.
She invited her high school students to come to her house for a Christmas party. She used this opportunity to share why we celebrate Christmas and got into the gospel. It was the first time that they knew that we celebrate Jesus' birthday!!! It was such a blessing timeand it was fun playing games.
Giving gifts and sharing what we thankful for through the pass year.
The students I know learn a multicultural class, so they came to interview the foreigners in our church. Thank God for the opportunity to share our belief with them.
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”
"Thank you so much for being a part of ministry here. Thanks for your love, support and prayers"
