It was a right time of God because a staff women “Rung” who works before me, she  got married and move to Chaingmai. So we need person to do this role and it was not just this reason but God has shown me this called is fit to my vision, design and health. And the leader was agree with me and he thought it is going to be a great changing year for me.  God will expand me and will be fruitful so much and the following years. What I enjoy the most now or what am I learning from God.

“Serving is a high calling”

It was hard for me in the first time when I was transfer from Campus staff to work in resource team. I felt I was not the part of ministry and not important and nobody had seen me what am I doing or serving them. It is work behind. But I was very wrong. When I want people see me what am I doing, it’s mean I was serving myself not God.  Want to see my own fruits and my successful not for God’s glory. God has shown and opened my eyes to see the truth and from the body of Christ who is encouraging to me.

Now I felt free from that lie what I believe and just focus on myself. I felt privileged even on campus staff for 5 years or now serving as a resource team.  It is Privileged God called me to serve Him in this role and to be humbling serving like Jesus. Serving is a high calling. Jesus came to this world for serving. I would like to be like him.  Now I am enjoy serving and would like to be His instrument and get ready whatever God desire me to do.

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Honey's Newsletter

How am I doing?      " Walk by Faith"
In the past year God used many situations to taught and increase my faith in Him so much. I would like to continue to learn about Faith more and more. So Walk by Faith is my theme this year!
It was encouraging to me from Mathew 8:5-13 “The faith of a Centurion” He asks Jesus just only say the word and his servant will be healed. Jesus was surprised!!! And Jesus said “Truly I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith” So I would like to learn to have faith in Jesus like the Centurion and I would like God will surprise and say to me like that too. Even I don’t know or many things are unseen now I will trust in God. I don’t know how is my future, my family, ministry, disciples or raising support going to be but I will put my faith in Him.

How am I with my disciples?       “Love like Marathon”
God has showed me his endurance and how He loves me so much through dicipling girls. I
have learned to lead them not only love but endurance love. I just think about the picture of marathon. “Love like Marathon” Because marathon runners need to be patient , use long time to go, use all your energy, motivate yourself and move forward to reach the goal! Same as to disciple the girls. We need to have enduring love, pray and wait until to see them grow up with Christ.

"Visited Yui'shometown"
My disciples are doing well and growing up.Now I am helping them to focus on their relationship with God and God is their master. It is hard also sometime; you know they just want to do what they want. But thank God for your grace for us. Please pray for them being rooted and grounded in His love. Ephesians 3:16-21

"Visited Khon Kaen school for the Blind"

How am I with non-believers? “Instrument of God”

The ministry is quiet and slow in this semester. I have not had many students to hang out with. But I try to go deeply and share the gospel with all the girls whom I follow up now. I felt discouraged because they seem not hear when I shared the gospel with them. From their perspective, knowing the Gospel was necessary for their lives. Oh God, lead me to share the gospel more and with the people who you provide for me, I would love to be your instrument. Please use me, I prayed to God like this. Praise God for his faithfulness. I had an opportunity to share the gospel with a freshmen girl named “Am”. Now, she would like to learn more about why Jesus is the only way to save her from sin. I gave her the Bible and suggested what books she should read. Please pray for God will open her eyes, her heart to see and touch the love of what Jesus did for her. Praise God for using me to be His instrument for the other life!

"Am"

Please pray for:
1.        I am seeking God right now for wisdom about how to serve Him in light of my health needs due to having Lupus.  Please pray that God would give me peace, and guide my directors as we discuss what role in CO is a good fit for me and allows me to take care of my body.

2.       Kana, who I discipled for the past 3 and ½ years is going to be a CO staff with the CO Chiangmai team. I am excited for her and for what God is going to do in her life.  Please pray for her. She quit the job and going to join TSP on March then going to be a ccp in Malaysia for 3 weeks and after that prepares to move to Chiangmai and also her raising support.

3.       Thai summer project on March 11-31 here in Khon Kaen and the Thai ccp team to Malaysia on April 12-30!        So excited for 14 leader Christian guys and girls are going to do the ministry and share the gospel there.
Praying for TSP's students
Thai CCP'2013

4.       My raising support. For monthly support I still need to raise $ 300 more, and I especially need to raise $ 2500 one -time for the Global conference at Orlando in July is coming ( Trust God for 5-10 people for this amount).  I am learning to be blessing to others through raising support and hope the people who would like to be a part of what am I doing will be blessed too.
Please e-mail if you, or someone you know, is interested in supporting me monthly, or giving towards the one time need for the Global staff conference.
Thank you so much for your love, prayers and support.

Share what I have learned from God:)

What are you thirsting for?

As you know from the last month I sent you my prayer request about my health “Lupus”. I appreciate and thank you so much for your prayers. I would like to share what I have learned from the Lord through this situation with all of you.
First of all I learned about “Faith.” When I knew what was going to happen to me, I needed to get medicine injections for least 6 months to cure my kidney. I felt anxiety and as I thought further about this process, many questions came to my mind. What can I do or can’t I do? What is my personal ministry going to be?  Etc.  But I forgot to be still and know you are God. How is my faith in you?  I have helped my disciples to look up and fix their eyes on Jesus not the situation when they had hard time. And keep asking questions like: Do you believe God will take care of your life? Do you believe God will provide? Do you believe God is our shepherd? Do you believe our lives are in God’s hands? All theses of questions were turning back to me and made me realize and ask myself “Do I believe?” So this is such a sweet thing that God raised my faith in Him. And God gave me his peace, strength and readiness to face it.

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

The 2nd sweet thing, I have meditated on Psalm 143 and I have learned especially from the verse 8 about “Steadfast love of God” When you have a hard time, what are you thirsting for? (Have you ever asked yourself “Why me?” or deeply more than that you maybe ask yourself “Does God love me?”) I have seen David asking and praying for help from the Lord and he would love to hear God’s steadfast love more than anything, his soul thirsts for God, he meditates on all that God have done, he trusts and praises God when the situation seems really dreadful.
This was very touching to my heart. I have learned to hold steadfast love of God and I can trust in Him because God love me so much. I am really thankful for this hard thing again and God is making me grow up in my relationship with Him. I used to pray and ask God for take away this Lupus from my life. He can do it if he would love to but this time I felt wonder in my prayer. I pray to God, I would like God to keep this thing in my life because it makes me closer to Him, learn to be humble with Him and I will boast in all my weakness so that Christ’s power may rest on me. This suffering is very little thing and can’t compare with the “Hope” and glory of God that is coming!

God confirm His steadfast love to me.
God make me so special because of this suffering.
Without this, I am not special, not Honey!

Thankful for your always love, support and prayers.

Honey

Special Thanks!
Last June and July
This was our first time for us that there were no CCP girls who came to NEU. It was challenging, but a great time for key Christian girls who are equipped to evangelize. Kade, Ice and Loogmee got to know with lots of freshmen girls and also they learned to depend on God.
I want to thank God for “Wendy”. She is friend of one of KKU staff “Laura”. She came to visit and help us in ministry at NEU about 3 weeks. She really got along with students and was a really great person who found opportunities to share the gospel with students.
Oh! And thank God for 5 ccp guy from Lexington who help to built interest and friendship with students. They helped to lead freshmen girls to join our activities too J

I thank my God every time I remember you.  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,  being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1: 3-6

The First Semester Ministry Update Part 2

What have I learned about disciple?

Friendly,Nam,LoogMee,Gip, Nong

Thank God for these girls and so privilege to take care of them. I am learning to lead, develop and care of them. But the thing I have learned the most is “Endurance Love” because they are so different and they have different areas to help with. So I need to depend on God ‘s wisdom and strength and pray about them to God. I would love to see them grow but they didn’t grow fast enough. I saw myself want to change and fix them. As I disciple them God also disciples me. God warn me how to disciple and love them through who they are in Christ not what they do.
“Endurance is about timing and waiting” I have learned many times when I bake with the girls. We need to wait and follow the time they tell us then we will get the yummy cake.
Or this example; I used to plant flower. But after about 6 months, there was no flower. I thought I waited for a long enough time but not at all. Then it bloomed!!! So worth the wait and lots of rejoicingJ.  From these situations I learned to put my hope in God about life on life with my disciples.
Endurance is the fruit of hope in the Lord!!!
We give thanks to God always for you all, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and endurance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 1:2–3

Please pray for:
1.      Wisdom and strength to love and disciple these girls:
-          Gip & Friendly, they are 2nd year. They became Christian about 1 year. They will grow deeply in relationship with God.
-          Loogmee, 3rd year. She got to know Christ about 2 years. Now she has her own ministry. Pray for her time with these students. They went to the retreat and she shared the gospel with them.
-          Nong & Nam,4 year. They are going to graduate. God will open their eyes to see His will.
2.       Joy, she prayed confess Christ last September 2011.Now she moved to study at her home town.
            Joy                                            First
1.      First, she prayed confess Christ last January. She seemed far away from the body of Christ. We met just one time in the beginning of this term but since then she has returned to some of her old sinful habits and we have lost contact.  Please pray for her to repent and be able to grow in Christ.
2.      My raising support. God will meet my goal by this year.  I am praying for one time gift and about $100 more a month in financial support.

Thank you so much for prayer and support.

The First Semester Ministry update / Part 1

How’s the Friends forever retreat in September 2012?

We just finish our retreat at Khoa Yai last September 1-3.  41 students went with us, there were 16 guys and 25 girls. We focused on making deep relationships with them and the purpose was making interest and let them think about the question: “Who are they?” We watched the video and had discussion group about: Who are we? Where do we from? Do you believe you are God’s creation? They have no idea about God creating them before. These made them think more about their lives. Many of them want to learn more about God and some of them are still confuse and some didn’t believe.
My high light was the Christians students who shared about God with non believers who stayed in the same room. And they also had responsibilities for activities too. They did a good job for MC, games and skit but need to develop in some area to help them do betterJ
Please pray for:
1.      Please pray for these 2 girls. They are sisters. Their names are Yui and Oui. They study Computer Engineering, 3rd and freshmen year. They went to the retreat with us. I am really excited because they are interested in God. They really opened their hearts and shared lots what they think. They thought Buddhism can’t help and change them and they believe God exists. Now they would like to learn more about God.

2.      Bom and Miw. They are freshmen accounting girls. They are interested in reading the Bible.

3.      And please continue to pray for Nuch and Pui. We study bible for 2 times. I felt that they understand God just for knowledge. They said “they felt good that Jesus die for them but they seem not realize about how awful of the result of sin.  Please pray God will open Himself to them.

4.      My raising support. God will meet my goal by this year. I am excited about this. It is going well and I pray and waiting for my ccp friends who help with this. I am praying for one time gift and about $100 more a month in financial support.

Thank you so much for prayer and support.
