"God gives Growth"

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
1 Corinthians 3:7
Boy, Ping Pong and Tang.
Growing in spiritual fruitfulness:
As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.Matthew 13:23

Praise the Lord for 6 New believers in the past 2 months Boy, PingPong, Tang,Pai, Jam and Kie.
Please pray for their relationship with God and that they would be grounded and rooted in God’s love. Ephesian 2:17
Pai,Jam and Kie.
Growing in sharing gospel and God’s love:
We continue to follow up with the students. We had a Friday fun party and almost every English camp team had a reunion get together. It is great to create those opportunities to keep in touch with our friends. They said that they miss their friends and experiencing warm welcome so much. They look forward to spend time together again.
Sano & I had dinner with Ger, Fluke and Chui. We were able to discuss the question “What are we living for on this earth?” All three were not sure about what are they are living for? They were confused and were challenged to think more about life after death.
Pray that the gospel and God‘s love will grow in them, soften their hearts and the truth will set them free from this messy world!
Growing in relationship with family:

Thank God for leading my grandma to come to our Mother’s day service at church last August. We had a great time together and she got to hear testimonies from our church members.
We did the ceremony to show respect to all the moms.
Please pray that God will open and change her heart of stone to be a heart of flesh. I love her so much and would love to see her come to believe in Jesus Christ. Please pray for her health also.

Growing in Life on Life:
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it. 2 Timothy 3:14
I am leading and having a bible study with these two transition women this year! They are Som and Penny. We have learned about what is mobilization, understanding the new role from students to a workers, how our lives can impact the world, and now we are meditating on the verses about perseverance in the midst of challenging circumstances. This is encouraging us to walk in faith with him in the workplace.
Pray for both of their relationship with God and walk in faith in daily lives.
Pray for Som, she is a french tutor now. This is her main means of providing for herself.  Pray that God will give her more students and she will trust the Lord with all her heart about His providing for her need.
Pray for Penny, She is a trainee teacher now. Pray that she will trust and depend on God’s wisdom for teaching her high school students.

Growing in relationship with the Body of Christ:
We just had our church retreat on September 26-27. Our theme this year is " The Relationship"
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35
I learned that the relationship starts from God. We can’t love other people by ourself or our own strength. It is necessary for us to depend on God in every relationship. From the sermon in Psalm 16 I was so encouraged about who God is. He is our Refuge, our Lord, our treasure and our wonderful counselor. His characteristic must be our pleasure and joy!!!! and this reminds me of who I am. When we have a good and right relationship with the Lord, it will lead the good and right relationship with the body of Christ and others. We can love them through His love and it means we are growing in be like Him and making Him know by loving one another.

Growing in Godly Character:
We have our staff training every week in different topic. Theology, support maintenance and develop in godly character. One thing that I have learn from the theology and encouraged me about God is that He is Self- sustaining. He is above all things, He is already there, no one created Him. He was not born and he will not die, he is eternal!!! This is hard to understand! But God must be like that, if not He is not God! How this affect my faith and my relationship with him? This made me think more and focus on the eternal word. Everything in this world is just temporary, our life is short, the suffering, sickness, happiness, are so short compared with the eternal life. This helps my desire in holding on to God who is never changing. He like the living rock in my daily life. I want to live in purity and trust in Him even I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. God is already goes before me.
I would like to encourage you to keep faithful in our part;  keep pouring the water, planting the seed and God who will  give the growth. and also keep praying. I believe that prayers are moving things to growing and bear fruit!!! His promises never change. He is going to do His will; what He said he would do in our lives!
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11
“Thankful for your love, prayers and support”

Please let me know what can I pray for you?

Honey

"The 2nd update of COSC and 2015 TSP" (Last July 2015)

"The 2nd update of COSC and 2015 TSP"
"Evangelism retreat at the beach (Rayong) on June 20- 24 with 50 Thai students and staff and 27 American students"

In His sovereignty:
Thank you so much for your prayers. We had many opportunities to share the gospel!!!
We had meetings everyday and shared about God on different topics, then we broke into several small discussion groups. There were great opportunities to know more of what the non-believers think about God. Many opened their hearts and had many questions about theology! But, I know that some of them are against it even though they didn't show it in their actions.
I really enjoyed sharing what we believe, but at the same time I felt sad in my heart because many are still blind spiritually. They don't understand what the truth is even though we explained it to them as simply as possible. God please open their eyes and open their hearts to understand Your truth.

Game night!
In His timing:
Rejoice with me!!!  Praise the Lord! We have more brother and sisters in Christ!!!
Namwaan, Boy and Pingpong
Boy is a freshman, he prayed to receive Christ the last day of our camp. Ping pong, the 2nd year girl, she studied the Bible with a campus staff after the camp ended. She would like Jesus to change her life so she prayed to receive Christ!!!

Namwaan returns to God!
Namwaan, she said she is a Christian but she didn't commit her life to the Lord. Her mom is a Christian. During the camp, she listened to many life changing stories from other believers, and learned a lot more of who God is. This made her want to come back and follow Jesus again!!! This made me think of these verses.
“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders (‭Luke‬ ‭15‬:‭4-5‬)
Praise the Lord for leading her back!!!

In His Growing:
Thai Summer Project 2015: "Inside Out"
We have about 4 Christian male students and 10 Christian female students who attended the training this year. They have been trained about how to get in the Word and pray, walk daily with God, evangelize, how to be a leader, etc.

Even though there are less than last year but I am really excited for them and I believe that God will do His work in their lives just like Jesus. He poured His life on the 12 disciples and they impacted the world!

Even though the project has ended, please keep praying for them and also the new believers that are continuing to walk and grow in their faith, abide in Christ, love the Lord with all their hearts and hold on to the truth of God tight regardless of the situations they are in. Especially, when they visit their families in their hometowns.

In His faithfulness:

I am so thankful for a wonderful birthday.
My earthly and spiritually birthdays are on the same day.
I'm so thankful for His faithfulness and His enduring love for the past 13 years that I know the Lord! Jesus is the best gift in my life!

The sweetest thing is that He knew me and loved me before I knew Him!!!

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭

In your prayers:
- Please keep praying for Bookbig, she finished her bible study in Knowing God book. She believes in everything but she would like to tell her mom before she receive Christ.
- SOR 2015 ( Summer of Renewal) our staff retreat on July 20-30 at the beach. Please pray that we'll get to rest, just focusing on the Lord, and have a great fellowship time with our team members.
- I got to know two girls named Tanyong and Botan (beside me).
They are sisters. Botan studies 4th year in Law faculty and Tanyong studies 1st year in finance. Now we get closer. They used to study at a Catholic school so they have heard about God. I got to shared my testimony and the Gospel with Tanyong already. They visited our church last Sunday. Tanyong is really interested to attend the English camp in the next year! I'm encouraging them to study the Bible together. Please pray for them, that they will come to know Christ.

View this email in your browser
Wow! I can't believe it is the half way mark of our COSC! Praise the Lord for how He has strengthened us! We did so many activities with students. The CO staff, Christian students, and CCPs had many opportunities to shared the gospel with non-believers!

I am in the red team this year. My goal is to support Ice, a staff girl who leads the team.
My high light is when we have team time! It was a fun time knowing the students more, sharing the gospel, and showing the love of God from our lives.

My personal learning:
Depend on God every day. I pray from theses verses.
I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalms 18:1-2

I felt God lift me up so much this year and not to stress in my financial role. Thank God for preparing my heart and reminding me often of our first RT team Value;   Jesus is my all before the camp and during the camp!
CCP girl & guy had the opportunity to share their testimonies.

We watched a video of the Hosea love story. Ice summarized the picture of God's love.

Group date night! Fun time at the Ton Tan Market.
Baking Workshop!
I had so much fun teaching the students how to bake! They had fun and really enjoyed baking with each other. They were excited to eat their homemade cake. :) I also shared about  Manna, yeast, the bread and the wine from the bible. Thank God for the opportunities to put the gospel in the workshop.
"Sharing the  gospel with Jam and BookBig"
BookBig (in the middle) just started to have bible study with Ice. Pray that the truth will open her eyes and her heart to understand who God is. Jam (yellow shirt) seemed really interested in Christianity in the first week of the camp. She asked many of us how we became Christians and wanted to study about God more. But after that she stopped asking and didn't want to study the bible. Please pray for her. Maybe she heard enough and felt full.Pray for her that she will hungry for the gospel.
Pboon (Vee) came to visit our church!
Thank God for the new friend (the 2nd from the left) that I told you about in the last update. She came to visit our church and got into the sermon service. On that day it was about the citizen of God. We can't do by our own self to be God's citizen and get salvation. She really paid attention to listen but I didn't know how she felt on the inside. She's kind of confident in herself. But I thank God for that she said she felt welcomed and loved from everyone.
Praise God that she can see love from us :)
Please pray for her. I heard that she is going to study in Australia in the next month. Pray that God will prepare believers to be around her and she will think more about God.

Please Pray for:
- God will open the student's hearts to understand His love, they will realize that they are sinners and need the savior. Please give them faith to believe that Jesus is the only way!

- Evangelism retreat at the beach is on June 19- 24. God please lead your son and daughter to you. Our traveling. Pray that our staff, Christian students, and CCPs will get lots of opportunities to share the gospel there!

- Following up with the students after the camp is done.

- Our TSP is going to start on June 28.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.

Love and pray,

Honey
